ADM moving to Gemstone questions

Currently have on one of my SageTV setups ADM. Thinking about moving to Gemstone.

If I install Gemstone, would I be able to switch back and forth between ADM and Gemstone or would Gemstone overlay/conflict with the current ADM setup?

Reason I am asking is in case spouse doesn't like Gemstone and wants to revert back to the ADM setup.

Would it be as simple as switching the Set Full UI Package and Select the User Interface Theme? Or would I need to disable (but not uninstall) ADM or Gemstone first before switching the Set Full UI and Select User Interface settings in Detailed Setup => Advanced?

Gemstone has the ADM code embedded. Most SageTV plugin are compatible but obviously ADM would not be... However, Gemstone checks if ADM is installed and enabled and will disable it on startup.

So in theory you can switch back to the default UI and re enable ADM.

It may even share the already built menu...but I cannot recall if I made any breaking changes in the ADM version included in Gemstone.. I guess u will know when you try it.

Thanks. I'll just make sure I have a good backup of the SageTV folder before I try the switch over (just in case).
