migrating my v9 server

i've been running v9 under Ubuntu on a 5i5 nuc with a standard laptop HDD for many years now.

i have been playing with some parts of my music system and now available was a 7i7 nuc with m.2 memory, so maybe it's time to bring my sageTV server in to the 2020s (or late 2010s).

i used clonezilla to clone my server's drive onto a 256G m.2 stick, put it into the 7i7 NUC and I now have a much faster responding sagetv server.

the only problem i ran into was that dhcp assigned it a different IP address (and things were failing all over the place), but after i manually set it to the old server's IP address, everything seems to be running fine.

now, if they ever get atsc3.0 running in the NY area, i'll try to get sage recording OTA 4K

Any reason why you haven't tried unRAID rather than Ubuntu. You could have unRAID as the core OS and run an Ubuntu VM. But SageTV would run as a docker under unRAID.
