unable to detect MPEG II capture card

I gat the same error as Amontillado: (http://www.freytechnologies.com/foru...s=&threadid=36)

The console window report :
MMC NATIVE FAILURE line 168 hr=0x80004005
MMC processing error:nocard

IS there a solution?

Barrie what drv kit are you using? it ver number.
Check "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hauppauge\PVR P2" it tell you the ver number you have installed

The newest driver from your site:16.20352,
but because of the "no-audio problem" I replaced the 'HCWPVRP2.SYS' file in '\WINNT\system32\drivers' with the the one from the previous '20326' drivers.
WinTV2000 works fine

Try swap back 'HCWPVRP2.SYS' and reboot just to see if fix the problem with SageRecorder.

I have the same problem with my 250, havent found a cure yet.
My other system (with a 350) does work (unfortunalty no sound with sage recorder yet)

I've been informed by Hauppauge that there's issues with the audio on PAL cards. It's not done the 'normal' way; so we're going to need to work with them on this to get the specifics. I'll keep you all updated on this and we'll modify the website to reflect the issues with PAL.
