OTA HD Antenna x2

I have the DB2 multi-directional antenna, outside on a poll attached to my deck. I can get most of the channels except one. (ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox)I can get, I can't get (CW). Well I can get CW if I turn the antenna in another direction, but then I loose the other channels. Basically most of my channels are at 43 degrees and CW is at 80 degrees.

(ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox) == 20 miles
(CW) == 30 miles

So I was thinking I should get another DB2 multi-directional antenna and point it at 80 degrees. If I was to do this, how would I connect the two feeds?

Is there a better approach?

Have you seen what www.antennaweb.org says to use?

Good information on combining the feeds from two antennas:
http://www.tvantenna.com/support/tut...combining.html

However, based on the information you gave, the reason you probably cannot pull in the CW and other channels at the same time, is that the DB2 is only rated up to about 30 miles. While your CW is 30 miles, aiming the antenna towards it directly, reduces the range on the other channels. A multi-directional antenna pattern looks similar to a circle that has one edge at the mast of your antenna, and then the opposite edge at the location you are aiming. Based on that, you can see that your reception in a direction left or right of the midpoint will be reduced.

A DB4 aimed at 61.5 degrees or so, would probably allow you to pull in all stations, but that's just a guess.

I'd suggest looking into the HD Homerun. It has two tuners, and I'm fairly certain you could setup one tuner to receive certain channels and the other to receive the others. I say that not having tried that, but knowing one can be setup for cable QAM and the other for OTA.

Joining two antennas can be problematic, and typically works best with a device like the Jointenna (sp?) which doesn't work in all situations because it's filter based.
