Resuming videos crashes Sage...

Hey guys,

Has anyone else noticed that when resuming a video (Xvid's for sure) the screen will come up, stall on one frame (where I previously was in the video) and the only way to resume it is by rewinding all the way to the beginning and starting again?

On top of that, if I try and hit "stop" when it's stalled on the frame, it officially tanks Sage. 100% CPU and won't do a damn thing unless I kill the process and start all over.

First time this happened to me I didn't think much of it but it has since happened a good 3 or 4 times.

Any ideas?

Edit: I just installed 6.1.4 and watched a downloaded DL.TV H.264 file (.mov) It stopped and resumed fine. Are you on 6.1.4? I did have your problem with .wmv files in 6.0.19

Travis,

I just tried to watch a .wmv file (a National Gepgraphic program), and had the same behavior. Selected play, video displayed in a paused state...FF/RW would jump around the file, only RW to the beginning would start playback...then Sage 6.1.4 froze solid. So it looks like xvid & wmv are still problems.

This is a problem that I seem to be encountering lately. I would suggest to raise a bug report with Sage.
