OSD Below video
I am running gentoo linux in xfce. I did the install manually, and everything works, but the OSD is behind the video and then will flicker to the front, its really annoying. Has anyone else had this problem?

You are probably using a recent video card without overlay plane. You need to use opengl by adding the line
opengl=true in the file ~/.sagetv/SageTVPlaceshifter.properties _Demo_ |

I searched everywhere for SageTVPlaceshifter.properties and couldn't find it. Finally I hit the Settings button on the "SageTV Placeshifter Servers Manager" and under the general tab clicked "Enable 3D Acceleration". The flickering has stopped.
