I'd start by having a look at the web server plugin. The web server provides some RSS feeds already (don't remember which), but at the very least it allows you to generate XML output of just about anything, including the list of your recordings on disk. If an RSS feed isn't already provided then you should be able to use the XML data to create one rather easily.
If you want to work with any of the data programatically from Java then the Sage API is where you'll want to look. If you do decide to use Java to access Sage data then I'd highly recommend using this strongly typed wrapper for the API by GKusnick. Last edited by Slugger; 04-25-2007 at 09:03 PM.

RSS feed of Sage Recordings is available from my webserver by doing a search for all Sage Recordings, and then pressing the RSS button on the results.
Contains show names/descriptions but does not contain file names, nor MediaRSS links to the files.
