Exclamation "My Videos" driving me nuts... AARRRRGGHHHHH

Man this is frustrating !!!
I have followed so many instructions on how to import my ripped DVD's, but nothing is ever showing in "My Videos".

I have all my ripped DVD's on a NAS.
I have set a Library Folder as "\\Dataserver\300gig_drives\Kids Movies and Cartoons"
Within that folder, i have the folders of each title with VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS structure.
ie :
\\Dataserver\300gig_drives\Kids Movies and Cartoons --> Robots --> VIDEO_TS AUDIO_TS .

Still nothing showing.
Am i doing something wrong ????

In conjunction with this, i am looking at using .My files as per instructions from HERE and HERE .
Where do i put the .My files ??? In the VIDEO_TS folder or the root folder of the title ??
I am really trying to nut this out myself without bugging people too much, but i am now at a loss...
I have 400 DVD's to catalog, and i cannot leave MCE completely until i sort this out.

thanks.

I don't know if this is your issue, but if you are running SageTV in service mode, you will have to set the service up to run as a password protected user instead of the local user in order to access network shares. I actually had another issue that even then I had to actually login as that user for sage to get access to shares located on remote computers.

Aloha,
Mike

You may just need to go to Setup->Refresh Imported Media.

I'm not positive, but I would think that it should require a restart.

"Refresh Imported Media" is what it's called in the stock UI. If you're using a third-party UI (such as SageMC), it's considered good form to say so up front, preferably in the thread title.
