Do we still need to touch videos for in place recompression?

I was just running a few tests and it looks like you no longer need to use touch.exe to replace a video, but I just wanted to verify that with the devs.

If the filename stays exactly the same, changing the timestamp to the file stop time (using Touch or any other tool) is not necessary: Sage does not see the file as new, and does not rescan it or update DB info.

If the filename is not the same (such as when compressing mpg->avi), Sage will delete the old file info from it's DB and treat it as a new file. It will work out the file start time from the file's timestamp minus file duration. It will then associate the file with a show using the numeric ID. So in this case, resetting the timestamp is important otherwise the timebar will be very odd on playback (file starts several days after the airing!)
