Initial client setup, video test fails on Vista
So I'm trying things out. Have the server setup and working properly. Put the client on my laptop and that works. Put the client on my mce box that is connected to a tv and the video test fails no matter what I try. It is Vista Ultimate. Everthings works fine in mce and graphedit as far as codecs go. I'v tried a couple different mpeg2 codecs with no success. I've tried every profile (basic, standard, etc) and nothing but blank screen and no sound. I'v tried uninstalling, deleting sage folder and reinstalling but still nothing.
What can I do to further troubleshoot?

Check this thread out.
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...43&postcount=1 They said they needed to use the MS MPEG codec. Also, I've seen it recommended to make sure you're running the latest Java version to keep Sage/Vista happy.
