Is Intel G965 integrated video adequate?

Building a new sage system (probably Core 2 Duo E6600) and wondering if a board with integrated video (intel G965) will be adequate? I will use this system both for direct display (to an HDTV via DVI output from an Intel ADD2 card) and as a sage server to 2 MVPs and a laptop running sage client. Currently only have SD cable (Haup PVR150) but may upgrade to a HD capture card and then want to display HD to the HDTV or transcode to MVPs. Also want some future flexibility if I ever want to play with getting HD signals from Directv (via r5000 or some such). I have no real gaming interest. Will this approach be adequate or should I get a dedicated graphics card? Thanks.

Also, is adequate cooling more difficult if I go microATX versus ATX?

The integrated graphics solutions don't have enough bandwidth to drive high-resolution displays. The Intel GPU's are particularly weak compared to nVidia/AMD low-end chips. You can try the integrated graphics, but plan on adding a dedicated graphics card at some point in the future.

I used the integrated video for about 4 weeks and saw no problems with it. I only replaced it with a BFG 6600 GT because the card was so cheap. I cannot see any difference on my 1680x1050 display. The Vista experience index for desktop performance was 3.8 with the integrated graphics. It went to 5.7 with the graphics card.
