Sage Server Down?
Is the Sage server down?
Trying to install a new copy of Sage and I keep getting a Sage error saying it cannot connect to the Sage Server. *yes my internet is working..... couldn't post this message without it :-)

You mean to configure the EPG data for a source? I didn't have a problem getting that to download. Double check the firewall settings.

Confirmed. Something must be wrong with the sage server.....
I have made sure the proper entires are in the FW. Also completely disabled firewall and completely uninstalled ALL anti-virus. Still no workie.

I don't know what else to suggest. The people at SageTV said they were able to connect too & the server is running, so either there is some sort of internet traffic jam between the EPG server and your location, or there is still something preventing your new SageTV setup from getting online. (Well, obviously there could be something else, but I don't know what that "else" is...)

I also could not get to the main page on, I think, Sunday. I just figured they were reconfiguring the web site for the new software and HD extender!
I could still get to the forum since I had the direct URL. The main page could not be found, for some reason, for a few hours.
