TV or LCD monitor?

Is it possible to use an LCD monitor in the bedroom while the main Pc is in the living room with sage tv ? do I need to have a small slave PC in the bedroom , or just a Media Extender ?

The media extenders only have composite or svideo. If your lcd monitor has one of the two then it would be possible to use a media extender. If it only has DVI or VGA (like most pc monitors) then you would have to use a pc or wait for the HD extender.

Hey , thanks a lot for that , was about to spend some money and really didnt even know what I was doing at all .. so lets see I guess I if want TV in the bed room I have to figure out if it is cheap to buy a TV or a computer monitor ? is that about the gist of it ? Do you have any reccomends on Monitor ?

I usually just monitor techbargains for good deals to popup. You should be able to find a good one almost every weekend.
