Ok, wheels are off. Vista now freezes entirely.
Vista Biz
8500gt e4300 running stock hdhr, 1 qam 1 ota tuner 2gb ram sagemc Vista usually freezes upon tuning an hd channel or starting an hd recording. Not just sage, but the entire pc, only way to get out is to hold the power button. VLC tunes channels just fine, and wmp plays recordings just fine, and this problem existed before i installed sagemc. Only thing I can think is I installed an HDHR beta, but that has long since been rolled back to the 8152007 version, and i switched off uac and had to reinstall sage from scratch. I realize this probably isn't enough info, but I don't know where to beginHow do I start tracking this one down?
