Enter Additional Placeshifter License

I already have a Mac Placeshifter license.

Just bought a second license, and cannot find how to enter the second key.

The instructions in the email with my key say:
To register your Media Extender or Placeshifter license key with SageTV on Windows go to the Start Menu->Programs->SageTV->Register SageTV Media Extender or Placeshifter License; or on the Macintosh go to System Preferences->SageTV->Licenses->New.

Problem is - there is no 'New' button/tab/selection.

There is a plus key which does nothing.

Which version of the application? The "+" button should pop up a dialog that you can use to enter the key.

SageTV Macintosh, 6.2.9

I already have one license, need to add another.

Figured there should be some sort of dialog after clicking the + button, but there's not.

Yeah, it should. I think you'll have better luck with the 6.2.10 version we posted today

Sorry to say it didn't help. Nothing happens when I click on the + icon.

Are you trying this in System preferences or in the app? If you haven't yet, try it in the 6.2.10 app and see if it works (Command-, once you see the splash screen), if it does then the system prefs pane didn't update properly.

If that's the case, then delete /Library/PreferencePanes/SageTVPreferences.prefsPane and /Library/Receipts/SageTVServer.pkg and re-run the app, it will run the installer again and it should reinstall the pane. Make sure System Prefs isn't running or it might not get updated properly.

I think the next version might get packaged as an installer experience so we can avoid these issues...

Thanks that worked perfectly. I was able to enter the license key in the 6.2.10 app without a problem. Guess you need to work on the pref pane.
