wMVP which Access Point/Routers work?

I just bought a wMVP, i have a Linksys WRT54GSV4 running Firmware Version : v1.06.1 .

I set things up wired to get everything up and running and to check things out.. now its time to try wireless.

I can get the wMVP to connect wirelessly and get an address only if i have it set to wireless "B", no security (wep) no other options like speed boost etc. All other options ... "G" mode, wep enabled security or mixed mode etc etc.. do not work. Basically it says it can connect but not get an IP address.

Running without security enabled is not smart or a path i want to take.

I have been reading previous posts and there seems to be a bunch of problems with the wireless side of the wMVP, some people have it working fine with their router some cant get it working at all...

What manufacturer/models of wireless access point/routers and KNOWN to work? By work i mean wireless "G" with WEP .... I will go buy one.

Don't you thing SAGE should publish this list to people when purchasing a wMVP?

I found that the TFTP in the wired MVP won't work with an access point (or that function within a wireless router) - where the non-standard modes are on, such as turbo, frame bursting, etc.

My Buffalo Tech wireless bridge, sans those modes, works fine with the wired MVP. I didn't want the wireless MVP.
