Client can't connect to Server anymore

Client now displays a msg that it can't connect to the server. This morning it was connected. I rebooted, get the 15 day trial msg, continue, and then the can't connect msg. I'm able to ping the server (by name and it's static ip) from the client pc.

All I can think of is that I enabled File/Print sharing on the server late this morning so I could access the printer.

No firewall installed on server.

Not even Windows Firewall? Are you sure you didn't accidentally enable this as a side-effect of File and Printer Sharing?

LOL, you beat me to it. That's exactly what happened. I was checking everything over and it was back on. Amazing the stuff you INTENTIONALLY turn off only to have them find a way to turn it back on.

Client can't connect anymore

I know you've fixed it but if someone searches, it may help them to know that I've had similar problems with the client not connecting because I've upgraded the version of Sage on my server without doing a matching upgrade on a client. You don't get a helpfull message telling you what's wrong. However, you will find that sometimes you get a connection erro, other times you might get all the way through to the client window opening but the window stays black.
