Hardware Compatibility
Hello there,
A few questions for you all. First of all, I am planning on getting this card: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEBI:IT&ih=015 Is it going to be compatible with SageTV? Secondly, does SageTV have a plugin where I can login to my PC from any website and ammend or setup recordings, like MythTV? Finally, Which remote would you recommend to use with SageTV? If hardware compatibility is a concern, check the sticky thread at the top of the forum before buying.
There's a web server plugin in the Downloads section of the forum. Or you can carry a SageTV Placeshifter installation on a USB stick and use that to administer Sage remotely using the standard Sage UI. I don't have a specific remote to recommend. When I started with Sage, I just trained it to recognize commands from my old VCR remote.
