HDHomerun recordings issue

I have a hdhomerun hooked into cable and configured for sage use using the bda driver. Aside from an occasional odd skip when using skip +/-, it works fine in sage.

I travel occasionally, and have a big hard drive in my laptop, so ?I ususlly copy a few recordings over to watch them on the flight. Since going to the bda driver in sage 6.2.10, the files wont play right...

In VLC, it just looks like the playback is in fastforward mode the whole time. No audio, and no way to pause it. It runs through a 60 min recording in about 30 secs. Nero showtime plays them back ok, but there is a 5 sec pause every time I seek, which is very annoying.

The files recorded before going to the new driver have no issues.

What's going on?

thx
mike

Sounds like the newer files are being recorded with bad timeframe references. You might want use the HDHR Setup program and force the reinstallation of the BDA drivers to see it that clears the problem.

Otherwise you'll want to go to the SiliconDust SageTV Forum and ask for help there.

I did that awhile ago with no improvement (forcing the re-install of the BDA drivers).

I am wondering if something in my settings is wrong. Are others not seeing the same behavior? If things are working fine for you and the files created have normal timelines and play fine with vlc, etc..., would you mind posting the tuner properties here for the HDHomerun tuners?

Thx
Mike
