Firmware Updating... How long should I wait?

I just got the HD extender today. The first thing I did was update the firmware, it downloaded and flashed like it should. Now the status says "Rebooting...", and has been like that for 10 minutes. It looks like it's frozen.

What should I do? Power cycle? The flashing is all done so hopefully it won't brick the unit.

Has anyone else had the screen freeze on "Rebooting..."?

Thanks.

-Peter

It should take about 15 to 20 mins.
You should see a progess percentage increasing.
There have been reports of it freezing.
I have no idea what you should do if frozen, need to find the threads about it freezing.

The progress indicator completed, it was "Rebooting..."

I pressed a button on the remote, and it brought me back to the settings screen. The firmware update page said that I was still using an old version. I turned off the unit (on the back), and turned it back on again. Seems like it's working now, and it does have the updated firmware.

You can try updating again, it will tell you there are no updates if you are current.

Here is the thread about the hangs http://forums.sage.tv/forums/showthread.php?p=251898
