pics of my setup...

I finally hung my plasma and setup my basement rack the way I want it. I couldn't resist posting some pics.

In the living room I have...
Sony ES444 reciever
Phillips DVD player
HTPC Sage PC Client
Logitech 720 remote
B&W FPM 5 (awesome speakers)
Samsung 50 plasma

In the basement I have
Three Comcast boxes
Battery Backup
1G switch
HDHR
Unraid Server (3T space) box on left.
Sage Media server (box on right)

Looks like you didn't need to 3-year-old-proof your setup .

I can just see those IR receivers being pulled all across my house!

I tend to put all my boxes the other way around so that I can get at the wiring!

Setup: - Server - Intel 3.4G D + XP, 2Gig ram, 3TB of raid. All running in service mode with 2 Hauppauge HVR4000 Running v7 with LMGestion's XMLTV and DG2XML. I also have the web server running.
Client - x2 plus PlaceShifter on various machines including eeepc Ubuntu 8.04. I am streaming Live TV to my PocketPC.
Stable but can use DVB-S on second HVR400.

Wow!!! Quite impressive, clean, and simple. I agree with the above user about the child proofing. I have the same logitec receiver and my 1-year-old likes to grab and tug. I tried to tape it inside my Thermaltake Motzart case where the display would go, but could never gets good reception. The receiver for my remote is there and works very well.

your server room is also impressive.

Please explain setup

Pat,

Would you explain your setup? I'm very interested in how you have all those cable boxes and the HDHR hooked up to the Sage media server.
