Problem playing mts files

Greetings all.

I captured and edited HDV video using Photoshop Elements 4. I exported the edited video as HD1080i (m2t).

Problem: when I play the video, it seems like it's not started. I have to skip fwd and then skip back for the video to play. Once I do this, all is fine unless I start the video from the beginning - then I have to again skip fwd and the skip back. I do not have this problem with WMP.

I am using my HD2600XT which, according to the Sapphire website, has a
"Dedicated unified video decoder (UVD) for H.264/AVC and VC-1 video formats
* High definition (HD) playback of both Blu-ray and HD DVD formats"

Any help? I have Sage configured to use the 2600 as the mpeg2 decoder, but what about the mts and other HD formats?
