Wrong audio - Hearing impaired track?

Hi,

Recently when I record a show (normally when I selected a show to be recorded from an MVP) the subsiquent MPEG2 video file that is created on the SageTV computer seems to have a hearing impaired audio track instead of the correct AC3 audio track.

For information I am in the UK and using two DVB-S cards to view Sky Digital TV.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

David

You can chaneg the audio track that is played somewhere. I think its part of the options menu.

I did have this problem on an early version 6, not had it since 6.3 something though. I suspect because it was playing the 1st audio streem it found rather than the lowest numbered.

Hi,

That sounds correct as it only seems to happen with DD 5.1 audio films.

Where can I find the options menu?

Many thanks,

David

Right click, or press ESC or whatever you have mapped to the options button on your remote.

Hi,

Thanks for your help.

For the record I have also managed to fix my previous recording by using VideoReDo and choosing the correct audio track.

Cheers,

David
