Audio Dropouts on HD extender

When playing back HD recordings from an HDHomeRun, we're seeing intermittent audio dropouts. This has only showed up recently after upgrading the firmware on the extender (potentially not related, but that's the only thing I can think of that's changed recently) My suspicion is that this is a network issue with the HD extender, since I can play the HD files back without issue on the server itself as well as on an SD extender without issue. Also, if I rewind the file a bit, the dropouts do not occur at the same points in the recording.

I've tried numerous ports on the switch for both the server and extender, as well as trying a completely different switch with no other traffic and saw the same results. I've tweaked some NIC settings on the server, but saw no improvement.

I'm running 6.3.10 on my SageTV server (XP Pro, fully patched), and the latest firmware on the extender.

Any suggestions on additional troubleshooting tasks or other items I can tweak to help get this fixed?

Thanks,

I also have an HDHR and get audio dropouts, but only going to/coming from commercial breaks. It doesn't always happen, and happens more on some networks than others.

I'm assuming it's something requiring a resync when the streams goes to/from HD and SD audio/video.

However from your explanation it looks like you're saying the dropouts are happening in spots other than the commercial break in/outs, and that they don't alway occur in the same spots.

If that's case then I am not sure what's happening on your system.
