New Install Issues

I got so feedup with the Sage setup and the HD Extender not working right I put in a new hard drive and set Sage up again. I have a HDHR connected as a source with 4 channels listed. I am using the stock SageTV GUI.

If I go to the guide and select a channel to watch, start watching that channel then go back to the guide and select another channel to watch it shuts down the HD extender.

Any ideas?
