Cable Box
I have just ordered a HD PVR, so I will need to be getting a cable box from my cable company (Insight). The only box that they offer with HD is their PVR box that costs $15 a month. Are there any cheap cable boxes available (with cable card support) that I could buy off ebay or something that will work? A cable card is only like $5 a month.

Does the DVR box cost $15/month or the DVR service?
My cable company sends out the DVR box now for all HD customers for $6/month but you have to request they turn on the DVR features (for an additional $11/month), otherwise it's just a cable box. I've never heard of a converter box that takes a cable card, and they tend to not work as well anyway. The one in my TV has issues periodically because the cable company doesn't much support them any more.
