SAGEMC

Hi all new to Sagetv. I am trying to get sagemc going. I tried following the instructions on downloaded the full version of sagemc and extracting the zip files to c:/program/sagetv/sagetv folder. But evertime i try to extract the files i get check dir error cannot create for all the files except 3. Is there something iam missing here? Thanks for any help.

First, was the path actually using \? It should be \ not /. Second, what OS are you using (XP or Vista) and does the account you are logged on with have write permissions to that folder?

Hi thanks for the reply. Sorry it is actually \ path. I am using vista 32bit home premium. Not sure about the write privilages. How do i find out that info?

I figured out the permission settings. You write I did not have write permissions enabled. Now sagemc works. Thanks again.
