Installing SageMC
Sorry if this is a question with an obvious answer, but I can't seem to get it to work right, and I'm starting to have a lot of issues with Sage right now, so getting one thing figured out would be great.
I've followed the instructions for installing SageMC. Download the full version, extract it into your SageTV file. When I try this the extraction doesn't go through and it looks like every file has an "error" in the extraction program. Why is this? I haven't been able to find anyone else with the same problem. It sounds so easy in the instructions but I can't get it to work. Any suggestions? It never asks me to overide anything, it just says "error". Thanks in advance. |

Where are you extracting it to? What OS are you running? If you already have issues with Sage installing SageMC isn't going to fix any of them. Stop where you are

I should have said I've HAD a lot of small problems, haha. The only issue I'm still having now is the stuttering, but I still think it has something to do with my computer not using hardware acceleration correctly.
Anyway, I'm excracting it to Program Files/SageTV/SageTV as instructed. I've also tried just extracting it to you Program Files/SageTV. It must be something simply I'm doing wrong, right? And I'm on Vista Home Premium. |

On Vista that may need to be extracted to the Virutal Store directory. Once you find that directory you'll see a Program file\SageTV\SageTV directory. It would need to go there I believe. (One of the reasons I'm not running Vista.)
