Time-code screwed up when watching on MVP?

Hi,

I am currently using two Hauppauge MVPs running SageMC.
Lately I get more and more recordings that are screwed up somehow.

Most of the time I can watch them, but when I try to fast forward they just jump back to the beginning.
Sometimes, time seems to run faster when looking at the progress bar and a show that should be a recording of 1 hour, just races by in 5 minutes.
And I don't mean the actual video/audio. That runs fine but only 5 minutes into the show. Then it just stops as if it reached the end.
Judging by the size of the file, it should all be there but I can't watch it!
I found that if I convert to DivX, I can watch it, but that takes a lot of time.

Just now I discovered that if I watch the same recording using PlaceShifter, all is fine.
So it has to be related to the MVP, because both of them have the same problem with the same files.
I tried the standard SageTV3.xml, but that didn't change anything.

Has anyone else has this experience??

My Sage version is 6.3.10.106
and my SageMC is 6.3.7a.fix

If you have a Hauppauge tuner, does this FAQ help:
During playback, the timeline advances several seconds for each second of actual playback. How can I fix this?

Thanks! I do have a Hauppauge tuner (the one with 2 tuners) so I will try this.
Doesn't explain why it doesn't happen on PlaceShifter, but hey: if it works, it works!

The registry fix seems to have solved the problem.
Up until today, no more screwed up recordings!
