How to change viewing location mid show

Just a quick question. Is it possible to pause a show on one extender then continue from that same spot in the show on another extender? The reason I ask is that I currently use a Matrix Switch to switch video from tv to tv (Wife and I will start a show downstairs and pause and finish upstairs). My HD extender is working so well that I wanted to see if I could just buy a couple of them and ditch the Matrix Switch. I would need to ability to pause a show on one extender (downstairs) and restart in the same place on another extender (upstairs).

Is this possible? Is there some user customization that could do this?? Anything?

I'm pretty sure pausing playback doesn't work, but stopping playback does. You just need to stop playback on the first extender. The second extender will resume playback from where you stopped.

Make sure you are recording the show though. If you stop, it will stop the recording unless it has been marked to record.

So if I'm watching say a DVD i would just stop playback on extender 1, select extender 2 and start playback and it would start at the place I stopped?

I have 2 extenders and do this all the time. Start a recorded show on one, then stop it and start it on the other. Starts from the place I paused it. Works for all DVDs and Recorded TV.

I love these extenders. HTPC is SO much easier with them.
