WHS and HD extender

Bear with me,

Currently I have a PS3 and I am not that fond of the XMB and could care less about buying into blu-ray.

I also have a home made WHS server in the basement. If I understand correctly all I need is a HD extender and the SageTV mediaserver running on my WHS server to view my video, audio and pictures on my HDTV?

What UI does the HD extender show? Is it a plain vanilla UI or is it customizeable like the SageMC stuff?

Thanks in advance,

Kryspy

That is correct. SageTV mediacenter running on your WHS servers as a service. The HD Extender shows the SageTV UI in all of it's glory. You can load the SageMC interface on your WHS server and bring it up on your extender. You can use plugins on your extender. Most plugins work fine.
