ubuntu 8.04 + DirMon2 + comskip

I have wine 1.0 installed with DirMon2 (0.6.4) and comskip (79_143). I can run comskip manually and have created a job to run comskip using DirMon2GUI. The problem is the comskip job only runs when I open DirMon2GUI. It does not run periodically in the background (like a windows service). The parameters are set as I would expect for a windows service (see below). The comskip job does run if I open a terminal session, su and run DirMon2GUI.exe thru wine.

Wine is installed under root. I have tried both 'run as local system' and local user 'root'.

Any suggestions on how to configure DirMon2 so that it runs automatically (without having to login and run DirMon2GUI.exe)?
