HD100 playback issues

Hi let me start off by saying it used to work pretty good. I use HDHR, analog capture and R5000 Mods(dish network). I was using a old sagetv version for a while, and I've always had wierd sound skipping issues on the HD100 on some channels mostly HD. Plus I've been having some stability issues with my server.
So first I started out upgrading the server, reinstalling windows, capture devices, new sage version etc. After I was done it seemed like my sage.properties was corrupted, service would barely load, and if I got sage going every client including the server was very very slow. (HD100 didnt play H.264, wouldnt play sound on MPEG2 etc).
So second step, uninstall sagetv, delete everthing in directory, reinstall, restore wiz.bin, redo channel setup, and this time install powerdvd on the server so I can test view H.264 channels. Now everything runs great, quick and responsive on the server, all channels play good. Both my PC clients play all channels good (one still has old version of sage client).

But my HD100 still wont play anything from the R5000, video or audio. Just a blank screen, not a "no signal" type deal. With my older version it just worked from the start. Also.. I am getting some spinning circle almost randomly when playing a recording, or tuning to a live channel.. for the HD100 non R5000, and SageTV PC Clients. They might sit on the View Recording button for 20seconds after you pushed it, and i can still work the menu while im waiting for it to finally start playing.

Using:
Sage 6.4.6 Server - plays everything fine (didnt test for delays)
Client 6.4.6 (1) - plays everything fine (except some delays "watching now")
Client 6.3.5 (1) - plays everything fine (except some delays "watching now")
HD100 new firmware (20080204) - never actually got it working since updated firmware.
- Plays HDHR and analog captures fine currently but R5000 nothing even MPEG2 channels.
Java 6.7
64k blocks

Thx for any help

Seems like i am missing something that needs to be installed to transcode R5000 files. I dont have ffdshow or anything like that installed on the server. I only installed, sagetv, java update, and powerdvd.

Does that mean you have or have not tried the beta firmware, which is up to version "20080804 0"?

Your wiz.bin could be damaged
A firewall issue might exist
A hard drive may be failing

Ok I installed '20080804 0' and I dont believe what I am experiencing. I can get all of my live TV from any tuner H.264 or MPEG2 on the HD100. However.. no pre-recorded will playback from any tuner even going back to year old recordings. Before the firmware I was not playing back R5000 recordings but I did play some local HDHR recordings unless I am completely loosing my mind.

The same slugishness on the HD100 it will play any livetv very smooth then I hit stop to hit the guide and i have the spinning circle for 20 seconds. Could this be my wiz.bin corrupted?

At least I can watch live tv on all clients!
I'm going to do a test recording and see if the extender will playback *New* recordings.

Any chance it could be a file-level security issue?
