Watching TV as it is being recorded issue

I have an annoying problem with SageTV and SageMC.

I am currently running SageTV V6.4.4.172 and SageMC STV Version 6.3.7a-fix. I have 2 HD100.s

If I am watching a show that is being recorded, and then I either pause or stop the show altogether, and watch something else, when I return to the previous show, it ALWAYS skips forward to the "Live" part of the recording.

This is VERY annoying, especially when watching sport and suddenly I see what is happening in the future.

To make it very clear. Lets say I am recording a football game that lasts for 3 hours. After half an hour of recording, I might start watching the game. 20 mins later, I stop watching and start watching a movie for example. Now, if I go back to the football game an hour later, it should restart playback at 20 mins but instead, it skips forward to the very end, which is now 1 hour and 50 mins in. Note, I am NOT pressing Watch Live TV so this behaviour should not be expected.

I am wondering if there is a setting I am missing or if this is something very easy to fix. I cant think there is anyway that this is working as intended.

Just a quick update: Just updated to SageTV V6.4.8.184 and still experiencing the same effect as described above

You should probably check if the behaviour is the same in the default STV or whether its peculiar to SageMC
