OSD Clock

I used to have an OSD clock before I upgraded that my wife liked. It's out-of-date now and I can't seem to get it to work without overwriting the jar which produces other errors due to the age of that. Is there any way to get back the OSD clock?

That's odd. I've imported it on the latest version and it worked fine. Then again, I'm using strictly MC now. I can check it on the default and see if I can get it working again and update the package if I can, but I really don't like the default and probably won't be updating it for the default in the future.

Let me see what seems to be happening.

If you just extract the .stvi file it should work fine. It seems to on mine, but since I don't normally use the default STV I don't have any other imports on it.

If you're still having problems let me know and we can try to troubleshoot it. In the meantime I'll work on recreating it with the new studio to make it more compatible.

I've now updated the download with the latest JAR file for now. It should work.

I had forgotten that with SageMC, there is a built-in import option. I'll download the latest and see how that works out. Thanks toricred. My wife has insisted on it

I'm glad somebody besides my family likes it. I know I talked about making several modifications to it, but It works perfectly for my family and I just haven't had time to look at the requests I received for this.

FYI, there is an option in SageMC to enable display of the current time in the Video OSD progress bar. It should be under the OSD Screen Specific settings.

Aloha,
Mike

The clock we're talking about is one that shows on the lower right part of the screen while video is playing. It's a take off from something Tivo had.

Is it a regular clock display of the current time? If so, I was just mentioning that there is an alternate option built in to SageMC.

Aloha,
Mike

It's a regular clock, but it's not tied to the progress bar. It's always there. Maybe I missed that MC can do this. I thought in MC it was only when the timeline bar was showing.

That's correct. Thanks for the clarification.

If you want to pull it into MC, that would be fine with me. I really needed it when we first switched from DirecTivos to Sage. My family seems to have an aversion to looking off the TV screen long enough to see what time it is. It's really simple code and the location for toggling it on and off should probably be moved into the SageMC options for the OSD screen. I've just been too lazy to fix it.
