HD100 audio formats
I'm trying to figure out my options, before I go overboard and tangle myself in cables.. I know the HD100 will output stereo, and it does PCM and AC3 over optical, but it appears with no volume control on AC3..

What about HDMI? What formats will it send via HDMI? Can it send the AC3 or is everything downmixed to stereo?

It will pass PCM, DD, or DTS over S/PDIF or HDMI. Just choose "S/PDIF" for the output if you want bitstreams over HDMI.
