Hide/Change Restricted Program names in EPG?

Hey,

I was wondering if it is possible to hide names of "SOME" restrictions. For example I have parental lock on Adult Only and rated R as well. BUT I would like to hide the names (so a blank shows or shows "restricted") on the EPG, because I hate looking at the programs at night with all the "sex" in the name. So is it possible to hide names of specific rated programs? I don't want to hide names of all restrictions like R rated, but for something like AO I would rather have it hide the name.

Well having a favorite channel doesn't make a difference because I've already disabled all the adult channels, so they don't show up anyways. The problem is that movie channels like HBO and MAX show adult content at night, so for that I was asking if there was a way for the program to just HIDE or say "Restricted" as the Name of the program in the EPG of all AO programs, because I already have the AO blocked, I just don't want to see the name either.

I would wonder this would put SageTV a bar above competitors when it comes to Parental Control Options. And on top it is really embarassing when guests are there at night, and you are scrolling through and see all those names! Someone needs to put this feature in or create a plugin. If only I was a programmer!

IMHO if you use that guide much you are using it wrong. SageTV allows you to watch what you want when you want to with no commercials. I spend alot of time creating favorites and filtering results in the unsupported extras recordings. Used in this manner you can easily disable access to live viewing/guide usage from the menus and remap the IR from the remotes but you can't get around channel+/- or at least i haven't found a way. A means of completely disabling live playback, everything must be either a favorite or a manual recording. Then allow guide access from a seperate menu file. This way the client in the master bedroom can see all channels and make favorites and whatnot and the kids client can't do jack but watch their favorites.

An additional aspect of this is the kids are most likely now watching commskipped content so they aren't exposed to advertising either.

This is huge for me. Not that I care about the ads, per se, but I hate the whining that occurs thereafter.

Well your setup is more 'recording' oriented, and mine is for actually live Tv. So I would like to use the guide option but if Sage (or a user plugin) were to add the capibility of hiding or removing names of AO programs than that would make this more parent friendly for live tv. And I think there would be a few people would would consider switching just because of this feature.
