Supporting multiple recordings from one ts stream?

(I've spilt this into a seperate question from another thread)

What is the official word on this feature?

Since I'll be running 3 TV's and simultaneous recordings on a server, being able to view/record more than one channel (in the same MUX) from the same tuner card will mean a hefty reduction on the initial investment.

As it stands I'll need a DVB-C tuner with build-in CI (FireDTV ~240$), an extra Irdeto CAM (~85$) and extra card-subscription (~50$/year) for each simultaneous unit/recording I'll need (Danish prices converted to US$)

The devs don't monitor every thread in the forums, so for an official response you should probably email tech support or submit a support request via the web form.

My guess, though, is that they're going to be non-committal about a timeframe until they've actually got it coded and ready for beta testing. Generally the first we hear about new features is when they appear in a beta.

Understandable, but hasn't this feature been brought up before?
