SageTV Service interfering with SageMC
Hello everyone. I'm a recent convert to SageTV from MCE, and I didn't like the UI of Sage. SageMC is much nicer, but I have been having problems that when the SageTV service is running, it reverts to the standard Sage Skin, and also will not allow me to listen to MP3s. That problem was fixed by a change I made in Sage.properties originally caused b ArcSoft TME for the HD-PVR.

When you enable service mode, the UI then runs in client mode using SageClient.properties. It's like setting up a new instance of SageTVClient. You'll need to go through the Setup screen to configure any client-specific settings, including which UI you want to use. You'll also need to redo any manual property file edits to SageClient.properties.

Great, thank you. How do I get SageMC to work under the client mode? I suppose a question to answer first is, do I need to have my service active in order to have the computer wake from standby and record?
