FYI: HDHR Network Solution
If anyone is having issues keeping their HDHR running, particularly if you use TFTPD32 as your DHCP server, you should upgrade your driver/firmware to the latest BETA.
Ever since I upgraded to the 20081002 driver I've been having issues where my HDHR would run fine for a couple days. Then I would go and check things out to find the HDHR's network status light was blinking. Cycling power would fix the problem.
This went on for the better part of a month and I finally got fed up. I went to the Silicon Dust forum and was poking around in the beta driver section when I noticed a fix on one of the earlier betas from October:
Quote:
Release 20081030beta1
Firmware: Fix DHCP quirk where some DHCP servers may not renew lease.
Windows: Scan full HRC/Cable channel map for use on cable systems with mixed HRC/Cable frequencies.

So I decided to install the latest beta driver. Lo and behold it's been running for a straight week now without being touched. It's been the happiest week I've had in more than a month since I haven't needed to babysit my server due to the HDHR.
So, if you're having similar problems try out the latest beta driver and see if that fixes it. It has for me.
