Does MCE remote work with SageTV?
Hi,
I've been trying to figure out why my MCE remote is not working with SageTV. I have a Vista machine with MCE and it was working prior to disabling MCE and installing SageTV trial edition. Using it with MCE it turned the channels on my Motorola cable box etc. But when I installed SageTV a picture shows up only on channel three and when I click up or down it goes black/blank. Does anyone know where to find info whether its config or compatibility issue? Thanks, John

The MCE remote and the IR receiver work to control SageTV but the MCE IR blasters do not work without 3rd party addins. Read thru this thread first:
