Problems after updating to 6.3.8a

I haven't found anyone else with these exact problems so I thought I would ask. After updating, the green "progress" bar at the bottom of the screen is gone so I have no idea at what point I am in a show and comskip no longer works (I assume it is related). My comskip logs show that it is scanning/running when it should. Also, detailed setup and channel setup take me to a blank screen inside settings. Any ideas/help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What versons of SageTV and Java are you running? You should be running the latest for both.

Aloha,
Mike

SageTV is 6.3.10.166
Java is 1.6.0_06

Java just showed an update a minute ago. I guess I should update it? Do you develop for the most recent version? Could updating break anything else? Just wondering. Thanks for the help Mike.

You should update to the latest release version of SageTV (v6.4). There are several new features that the latest SageMC requires. Your version of Java should be fine.

Aloha,
Mike

I noticed that if I delete a recording, it won't delete. I'm running the latest of everything. I loaded the previuos version of Mc and the recording deleted just fine.

I have the same problem with the detailed setup and channel setup screens. I'll have to check the green progress bar at the bottom of the screen when I get home. I am running SageTV 6.3.10 and the latest Java build...

Thanks I'll download and install tonight.

Edit: That did it. Thanks Mike. Now if I could just get the media backgrounds to work from a central location...
