Problem with Fanart backgrounds not loading

I can't get this to work in the centralized way. I have a share setup, \\htpc\FanArt, with a Movies and Music folder within it. I have a file "28 Weeks Later.jpg". It does not show this way. If I copy the file to where the movie is located and rename it "28 Days Later_background.jpg" it works fine. Any ideas?

Did you set \\htpc\Fanart\ as the central media background folder in SageMC?

(Settings >> SageMC >> Paths)

Aloha,
Mike

Did you specify the path "\\htpc\FanArt" when you set up "Media based backgrounds", if so you should have seen your two folders "Movies" and "Music".

It worked for me.

I noticed you have 28 WEEKS Later vs 28 DAYS Later (Not sure if that's a typo or not but you might want to double check.

I haven't had a single problem. I get the IMDB info (Which changes the Title of the movie). I then rename the central jpg to match the Title.

Yes

And I have both movies. It's not a matter of which one. It's named correctly.

Does your client have permissions to access that share? Try setting up a folder locally and see if that works.

Aloha,
Mike

No, still no joy to have it in a local folder on the client.

Can you post a debug log file?

Aloha,
Mike

Is there a specific SageMC debug or use the regular SageTV one?

Ok, here is a log. There is one successful one with "28 Weeks Later_background.jpg" and then there are a few which should be loading from the central folder but aren't.

Dont add the .jpg to the end when you rename the file. Thats how I got mine to work. Dont know if that will help you or not.

On my client it's currently set to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\SageTV\SageTV\STVs\SageTV3\SageMCE\MediaBackgrounds

On my server it's set to:

\\htpc\FanArt

Neither one works. I have write permissions set on both.

Can you post your sageclient.properties file? I want to make sure the file path is set correctly.

Aloha,
Mike

Hmmm... interesting part is it works for TV shows. Just not for imported videos.
