Problem loading Themes

Whenever I try to load another theme I end up with scraps of the previous theme.

I follow the standard install method: settings, select themes, pick the theme then apply.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. The theme I'm trying to load is iTV. It was extracted to the SageTV/SageTV folder as called out.

Any help is appreciated.

What 'scraps' of previous themes are you referring to?

Some, if not most, themes have an associated menu layout file that needs to be imported as well. This is done by pressing the menu button on the main menu, then select Customize Screen Layout, then Import/Export Layout, then Import All.

Which theme(s) are you using?

I began with the nBlue theme. I had the same problem loading this theme as well.

I forgot I had to import all the layout screens after installing iTV. I searched for the layout file but there doesn't seem to be one named iTVmenu.layout

That was created before layout files. Go back and load the default.layout. Then use the iTV theme.

Thanks Gerry,

I did exactly that and now it looks OK.

Everything works except that nice date/time square icon is not there. I have the standard menu item instead.
