For example, the TV show "Castle" has the cover for "Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle".
And not to seem too lazy or selfish, but is there any chance in the distant future for a plugin for music with the same look and feel of TV and Movie Info?
Thanks again!
Sorry for the delay in replying to your post, I would look into the problem your having with coverart but the next release of this import will not be supporting IMDB images as you know it. Hopefully its going to support the new fanart system and will downloaded images using the Pheonix api, I've not tried this yet but it should work.

Unfortunatly I dont use my Sage system to listen to music so you will never see an import from me for this. Thats unless I get totally bored and can't think of anything else to do.

To be honest I'm not sure, I don't ever remember having any issues with this. Is it an imported TV series or one thats been recorded from TV?

New version added to the download section. Added support for Pheonix fanart api's. This import no longer supports IMDB images located in the default SageMC install directory.

I'm getting some serious hangs with this plugin enabled. Sometimes it will recover after a few seconds, sometimes not. Java heap already at 512.

Log attached.

Nick.

Hmmm, that looks nasty. I think your using the latest sagemc_6_3_9 with the correct jar? I'm going to assume its user error at the moment as quite a few people have downloaded this already and your the first to notice something. I've also just tried on my PC client and it doesn't seem to hang at all. I will look into it some more later today.

edit:
I have just noticed a small error on my part which I'll sort out later.

I assume you've updated your server as well & the client on the server? I suppose in theory the server should be the quickest at getting all the fanart and other things.

I'm not sure what you mean? Updated the server and the client on the server separately? I have no idea how that would work?

I just import the latest STV from the client UI.

Regards,

Nick.

Yeah, I don't no why I put that. I don't use the server as a client so I have no idea how that would work but thought I'd mention it anyway just in case you were supposed to.

So I have a dumb question, am I supposed to be seeing fanart now with this, automatically? Or do I need to install a metascraper util of some sort to do the behind the scenes fanart downloading for TV shows? I didnt even see an option to manually get the fanart for a TV show, like the Movie screen import has.

You wont see any fanart if it doesn't exist in the fanart folder, you cannot add fanart manually via the options because I totally forgot about that so I'll try and get that done before the weekend. Good spot

If you wanted to get started you could add the fanart folders/images yourself.

Ok, I guess I will try and download some TV series fanart. I previously had it, but removed it with the whole new setup that came along (plus those wouldnt have helped me as they were not in the correct directory structure).

New beta version available here.

Fixes a few bugs and adds BMT plugin fanart/metadata search facility.

Installed the beta. Now I can grab fanart for TV shows!

But a bug (I think): when on the detailed TV program info screen, pressing 'guide' has no effect. shouldnt it go to the guide at this point? When on the Movie info screen, the guide button works.

Just installed this (v2..) and I love it... especially with fanart which i just figured out and got working....

Quick question: on the preview screen caps they show season/episode information. On my setup that information is not displaying. Do I need to activate/change anything for the season/episode info to show up or am i doing something wrong?

Thanks again great job

If I remember rightly thats the way my TV guide data displays the episode name. If its not working for you then I doubt I can do much about it as its down to the guide data, sorry.

Is there a way to have the fanart only show up in the recorded show detail screen, not the Upcoming Recordings/Recently Recorded shows list?

Thx
