6.5.7 live TV / Recorded playback broken

6.5.6 and prior beta's in 6.5 all worked until 6.5.7. Now live TV or recorded video playback is either a black screen or I see the first few seconds of video then the video playback freezes. Sage remains responsive and I can stop video playback. I've uninstalled 6.5.7 and gone back to 6.5.6 and video playback again functioned correctly. When I installed 6.5.7 a second time to double check I got the same results. These results are with the SageTV or PowerDVD 8 drivers running in EVR mode.

My setup is as follows:

HD-PVR rev E1 running latest 1.053 driver.
Nvidia 9800GTX driver 178.24
Core2 CPU 3Ghz
Vista x64 Ultimate
4GB RAM

I'm also having this problem - It only happens on SageTV Clients. Doesn't affect the server or placeshifter(not that you can use the placeshifter for streaming H264 at this point!). Had to roll back to 6.5.6 on the clients.

Why yes it does! I initially had the same problem with the 6.5.8rc, but after replacing MpegDeMux.ax and myasyncflt.ax with those ones = smooth sailing at the moment! No problem with SD or HD...

I had also submitted a bug report and support has suggested I try the new MpegDeMux. The new MpegDeMux works much better but it still has a few glitches mostly involving my HD-PVR changing encodes during channel change.
