Voice Mail Plug-in?

Is there any plug in that allows for extracting voice mails from an inbox and displaying a notice of new voice mail and a way to listen to them?

Well, I have vonage and have the ability when someone leaves a message, it email's you to notify you. Also, give you the option to attach the audio file.

With something like this an email module can be created in SageTV. I don't know if SageTV email attachment allows you to play audio files.

What's your phone provider?

I have Comcast and we can check our Voice Mail Messages in Our Email Boxes.

Looks kinda like this...

I can then go into my Voice mail account and it will list time and date stamps and allow me to listen, delete or save audio to my hard drive.

Would it be possible to import this data somehow into Sage?

I haven't played with the email module in sagemc. Look into that but I don't think it will alert you, it would just allow you to check the email. I really don't know if it allows you to play audio attachments.


Another option is to use shadeblue callerID, which allows text messages sent over sage. So, if there was a program or a program created, could send a message over sagetv, letting you know there was a VM.
