HD200 import custom menus

Where is the hd200 menu edits and the such stored? I like that I can make each one look different but how do I import the themes and such from the main pc so I don't have to go through the entire setup again on the extender?

When connected to SageTV as an extender, the properties file is located in the 'clients' subdirectory under the SageTV install location where sagetv.exe is located, named <mac address of the extender>.properties.

Since you mentioned 'menu edits': if you are referring to a customization, then ask in the customization's topic in the customizations forum.

Just wanting to know if there is a way to get my stv.s, menus and all copied from the main pc to the extender without having to resetup evertying

I'm wanting to know the same thing...

How do I copy the following things from 1 HD200 to another?
1. Learned IR codes (I will be using the same Harmony remote with each HD200. It would be great if I could teach one HD200 the IR codes and just copy them to the other two HD200.

2. SageMC Menu edits (I removed the Play DVD from the main menu and added the Online content to the main menu, and did a bunch of other menu changes to 1 HD200. Any way to get these changes to the other 2 HD200?)

3. I changed the SageMC weather options on one HD200. How do I get these configuration changes to the other HD200s?

I basically want all three of my HD200s to be exactly same.

Re-installing the sagemc and recustomizing on every extender is a pain.

These are stored in the .properties file as ui/rc_mappings=.

These are stored in the sagemc_menu.xml file. Open the same file from the server. Or create one for each HD200 in case you do want some differences. Options button of your remote and choose Main Menu and load the file for each HD200.

Again-these are stored in the .properties file.

Each .properties file has a unique name based on the MAC address of each HD200. You can totally set one up the way you like. Then make 2 copies of that file and rename it with the MAC address of each HD200. You should already see that in the Clients directory on the Sage server.

Thanks Gerry for the information!
This will save me a lot of time and effort and it will ensure all 3 HD200s are the same.

Oh and as a side note. I found the Harmony remotes already have an HD200 device so I don't have to teach Sage any codes.

For Harmony remotes, select:
Device = Media Center PC; Manufacturer=Sagetv; Model= STX-HD100
Device = Media Center PC; Manufacturer=Sagetv; Model= STP-HD200
