SageTV Client - Vista x64 Lockup

I am constantly having the 6.5.9 Client (and all previous versions I tried) lockup my entire system regularly. As mentioned in the title this is Vista Ultimate x64, with all latest patches. It is a quad core (Q9450) system, 4GB ram and 9800GTX video card if that helps also. Without fail it happens if I go into the SageTV Recordings menu while it is recording a show. However, it happens in other random menus as well. Does not matter if running windowed or full screen. Any suggestions or directions how to collect any useful debug info?

I have for my server WHS server running SageTV 6.5.9. I also have an HD-200 in another room. Both of these are functioning great.

Just want to use my PC for setup and occasional viewing. It is so much nicer to be able to just type in things versus the remote.

Thanks!

I had a similar issue with my old pinnacle 800i card, before i switched to my new hauppauge.

The pinnacle card (or atleast this is what i've been told) doesn't like that much ram. 4gb(+) freaks it out.

Is the computer generally stable when not running sage?

If you do something graphicly intense, or memory hogging, do you have hang up issues as well?

I'd try pulling a stick of ram, and seeing if things get better, if not, switch the stick you pulled out for the stick still in the mobo.

Might help, but might not...
