Share the drive, and buy AnyDVD. AnyDVD is needed to remove the encryption before the data is sent from the DVD player to the HD200. Okay technically I have never tried this with a DVD as I just rip all my DVD's, but it worked beautifully for Blu-Ray so I can't see why it wouldn't work for DVD.
